Summer Camp | Week 7: Art & Nature with Rho-Jo

Join us for a vibrant week inspired by Barbara Leighton’s beloved pet parrot, Rho-Jo, a charming Yellow-naped Amazon parrot known for his bright personality and brilliant colours. Campers will learn about Rho-Jo’s fascinating life, the environment he originally came from, and the unique animals that share his habitat. Blending art, nature, and the history of the Leighton Art Centre, this camp invites young creators to explore a wide range of mediums (clay, weaving, painting, mixed media, and printmaking). With outdoor exploration, hands on projects, and a touch of Leighton history, this week offers a colourful adventure for curious minds and creative spirits.
