Workshop Title: Forest Bathing
Time: 10 am - 1 pm 
 

Description: Come experience a series of guided meditations that will bring you into the present moment, opening the doors of connection to nature and the senses. Each walk is approximately 3 hours long and only covers a small amount of distance (roughly 1km). To complete the experience there is a gesture of reciprocity which involves having some tea and a snack to complete our time together.

Audience: 13+ (children can not be left unattended).

Level of Experience: No experience needed!

Supply List: 

  • Water bottle
  • Journal and pen
  • Please dress in comfortable clothing and appropriately for the weather. A studio space will be available as a backup in the event of unfavourable weather.

Instructor Biography:
Alberta DeFrancesco is a locally based artist, naturalist and guide. Growing up in Alberta, she has been surrounded by some of the most majestic landscapes and environments. Being able to combine her love of nature and the outdoors has led her to the path of becoming a guide. Certified as an Apprentice Interpretive Guide and Nature and Forest Therapy Guide, Alberta has lots of experience with spending meaningful time in nature.
